Servicing

Popular Van hire is a part of Chesham Autos and we have been undertaking car repairs since 1970. We provide full servicing, including air conditioning servicing, and MOTs with newly installed modern facilities.

A Full Service is recommended every 12,000 miles or 12 months - whichever is sooner. Some manufacturers may recommend more frequent checks.

Interim Servicing is ideal for vehicles used for short, mainly urban journeys or for those who wish to service vehicles doing very high mileage more regularly. An Interim Service every 6,000 miles or 6 months helps keep your car safe and roadworthy between full services.

MOTs

During the MOT test we will conduct an inspection and a comprehensive series of checks around the vehicle, including the interior, exterior, under the bonnet and under the vehicle. The result of each check is recorded - if the vehicle passes, a certificate is issued.

Items that are not quite a failure, but worthy of a mention to you so you can keep an eye on them are drawn to your attention as 'advisory' items.

It is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is examined every 12 months. Without a current MOT certificate, you will be unable to drive your vehicle lawfully or renew your road fund license.
